The Double Y-Axis System is one of Rainer’s outstanding innovations. The system equips the company’s top of the range punch press centers OS 3000 and OS 4000 machines. It assures maximum accuracy in all the work range, in any working condition and at the maximum speed without reducing the productivity of the machine.

The sheet carriage along the Y-axis is powered by two servomotors, Y1 and Y2, driven by the machine CNC as independent axis connected in gantry. Also at the highest speed and acceleration the mechanical deflections of the carriage are minimized and controlled thus increasing the punching accuracy. It is no longer necessary to reduce the speed of the machine to reach the necessary precision.
