The flexibility is assured by the "Orbital
System", the quick retooling system that allows drastically reduced
down-time due to punch and die retooling, allowing the operator to
reconfigure the machine in a matter of minutes instead of hours.
Furthermore all machines feature a sturdy and robust "C"
structure; computer designed employing the use of finite element
analysis. This coupled with a sheet carriage located behind the turret
in the more compact models gives the machine an incredible manufacturing
flexibility.
The reliability of the machine technology and high
speed of the axis and hydraulic system assure the productivity. The
ultra-fast machines of the TOP series feature the exclusive "Double
Y-Axis System" and are probably the world's fastest punch press
centres currently available. However speed by itself is not meaningful
unless it is related to precision which is why all of Rainer punch press
centres are designed to be accurate at full speed, unlike all other
punching machines. The project data and all mechanical and electronic
components are selected following this philosophy.
